Zachary Eastwood-Bloom is a London based artist who explores the blurring space between the material and digital world. He works with a variety of media and processes, including sound and video. In 2004 he graduated with a BA (Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art and an MA from the Royal College of Art in 2010. Zachary has exhibited with the Royal Academy of Arts, the V&A Museum and the Royal British Society of Sculptors. In 2010, Zachary co-founded Studio Manifold; a collective of nine artists and designers who established a studio in an east London railway arch.
On the 14th of December 2014, on the occasion of dontdrinkthemilk#1, Zac’s segment of the night will give form to sound by catching the harmonies of a live performance from experimental choir the REC. As a main collaborator of amaCollective from the beginning, Zac’s involvement has been instrumental in the initiation of our chain reaction. During this interview we will delve into his development as an artist and his thoughts on the workings of a reactive exhibition process.
